Anna Brooks, 87, of Lathrop died Thursday in Stockton hospital. A native of Stockton. Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker. She was a member os St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Manteca. Survivors include two sons, Homer William Brooks and Sherid Brooks. both of Manteca, four dauters, Vina Smith and Doris Smith, both of Lathrop, Velma Craig of Blue Lake and Delores Baker of Yreka; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday in P.I. Fry @@ Son. 290 N. Union Road in Manteca. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 525 E. Noth St. in Manteca. Visitation will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday 10 a.m. until service time in the mortuary. Burial will be at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.

A native of Stockton, CA. age 97 years.
