Notes for John JOHNSJOHN JOHNS was not named in the Last Will and Testament of JUDITH JOHNS of Goochland Co., VA (her Will indicated other unnamed children), but he was probably her son.

1736- Peter Bocar of Goochland Co., VA against Thomas Bassett and James Robinson of Goochland Co., VA. Bassett and Robinson to be paid by Peter Bocar for three days attendance 90 lbs of tobacco. As also have allotted the legatees their respective parts in the the said Estate as appears on the back of this writing.

Charles City County Va. was formed in the year 1634 and in 1703 Prince George County was taken from it. Amelia County was taken from Prince George Co.in 1735. Pephaps the Johns in Charles City are the ancestors of John Johns of Amelia and his wife Judith Tanner.
